Aesthetic Group Gymnastics "Joukkuevoimistelu"

Aesthetic Group Gymnastics offers a fun and diverse way to develop movement skills and gymnastics techniques. In the groups, children practice balances, jumps, body movements, acrobatics, ballet, and using gymnastics apparatus such as rope, ball, and ribbon. The goal is to develop physical abilities and teamwork through the joy of movement and self-expression.

  • Little Gymnastics (ages 3-5) "Nuppuvoimistelu"

  • Star Gymnastics (ages 6-13) "Staravoimistelu"

    • In the fall and spring, groups prepare a performance for the children's STARA event, where families will purchase a performance outfit as per the provided instructions. At Stara events, everyone is a star!

  • Advanced Groups "Staravoimistelun  jatkoryhmät"

    • Enrollment in advanced groups is by invitation only. Gymnasts are selected for the groups, and for assistance in choosing the right group, please contact Jenna Kajasviita at lapset(at)voimistelijat.com.

Artistic Gymnastics "Telinevoimistelu"

Artistic Gymnastics focuses on the basics of gymnastics on various apparatus, including the balance beam, horizontal bar, rings, parallel bars, and floor. Classes develop gymnastics techniques, acrobatics, and physical skills in a fun and supportive environment. The beginner groups provide a solid foundation for continuing gymnastics and other physical activities, while advanced groups refine skills and prepare for performances and competitions. Artistic gymnastics supports a well-rounded athletic development for children and young people of all ages.

 

  • Family Apparatus (ages 3-5) "Perheteline"

    • In this class, children move together with an adult!

  • Artistic Gymnastics (ages 4-14) "Telinevoimistelu"

  • Advanced Groups "Telinevoimistelun jatkoryhmät"

    • In these groups, gymnasts build on the skills learned in beginner classes and start practicing apparatus routines for the STARA event at the end of the fall and spring seasons.
